KW Has Hard Water — Descale Everything Monthly

The water in Kitchener-Waterloo is very hard. Within weeks you will notice white buildup in your kettle, coffee maker, and shower head. Run white vinegar through your kettle every 3–4 weeks, and do the same for your coffee machine. A Brita filter helps with taste. This is the #1 thing locals say nobody warns you about — now you know.
